 "The Artiste"

At the shows this season, I've seen a major comedown from perfectly groomed cuts and a return to loose strands and face-framing fringes. It's the anti-fade: natural, disheveled not-too-short styles seen at Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Vivienne Westwood. And this shift encompasses all men's hair textures from dead straight, to wavy, curly and coiled.

The must-do: get bangs. Draw your hair forward and get it razored out. Including guys with long hair, don't be afraid of the frontal chop. Check it out:

How-to: Let your short haircut grow out and voilà. If the shape gets too round on the sides hit up your hairdresser and have them chisel away at the silhouette.
